Payton Rademacher Photography
Hi, I’m Payton! As a Deaf elopement photographer, I’ve learned that life is about embracing what makes us different and following our own path. I’m here to help you do the same on your wedding day. Whether we’re chasing foggy mountain views or capturing quiet moments by the Lake Superior, my goal is to tell your love story in a way that’s as authentic and extraordinary as your connection.

I am so glad you are here!
hey!
wife. mom. hopeless romantic. artist. wanderer. photographer.
Growing up Deaf taught me the power of being different. From an early age, I had to navigate a world that wasn’t always designed for me. It wasn’t always easy—being misunderstood, underestimated, or simply feeling out of place—but it shaped who I am today. Being Deaf gave me a perspective that celebrates individuality, resilience, and authenticity. It taught me to dream boldly, to value connections that go beyond words, and to embrace the beauty of doing things differently. Those lessons are at the heart of everything I do.
Embracing Difference: How My Deafness Shaped Me
That same courage and authenticity are what I bring to every couple I work with. Your love story deserves to be celebrated in a way that feels true to you—not shaped by family expectations, societal norms, or traditions that don’t reflect your heart. I’ve been where you might be now—feeling pulled in different directions, wondering if it’s okay to make your day about you. The truth is, it’s more than okay—it’s essential. Your wedding day should reflect your connection, your adventure, and your story in a way that feels unmistakably yours. That’s why I’m here—to help you follow your hearts and create a day you’ll treasure forever.

When I got married, I thought eloping meant Vegas or a courthouse. So, I went with a big, traditional wedding—130 guests, so many expectations, and a day that didn’t feel like me. Looking back, I wished it had been just me and my husband eloping—a day that was about us, where we could focus on each other, embrace every moment, and celebrate our new chapter together. That’s why I’m here—to make sure your wedding day feels like you.
Your photos should be more than just pictures. They’re the salty ocean air, the scent of pine trees, the warmth of sun-kissed skin, and the tears in your eyes as you exchange vows. If you’re ready to lace up your boots and let your love shine in the wild, I’m here to tell your story the way it deserves to be told. I’m here to make sure your day is as unforgettable as your love.

This is Kevin. My husband, hiking buddy, and a peanut butter to my jelly. With a passion for working with engines and an anime lover, he's a simple and loving man who stops to take his drone out to film every scenic view he sees. We fell in love in Minnesota and then together fell in love with the forest and mountains. He has the biggest heart out there. You'll meet him at your wedding (he's your bag carrier, holds your dogs, and is your driver), and by the time we're done with your photos, he'll have your heart too. Oh and psst... he can also be one of your witnesses.
